Installing the processor and heatsink

To install the component:
Procedure
1. Back up all server data.
2. Power down the server .
3. Disconnect all peripheral cables from the server .
4. Remove the server from the chassis .
5. Place the server on a sturdy, level surface.
6. Remove the access panel.
7. Remove the air baffle.
8. Open each of the processor locking levers in the order indicated in the following illustration, and then
open the processor retaining bracket.
9. Remove the clear processor socket cover. Retain the processor socket cover for future use.
