3.2 SM 137 D General overview and main parts
A- Motor: synchronous with permanent magnets, allowing the movement of mechanical parts.
The rotation is controlled electronically. The shaft outfeed flange (bracketing flange) is fitted
with special holes to be fastened to the device.
B- Motor shaft: transmits motion to the device.
C- Connector: electrical connection of the electronic drive.
D- Clamping flange: the clamping flange has holes for installing the equipment on the device or
machine (see paragraph 5.4 “Mechanical connections”).
E- Electronic drive: electronic device that manages motor rotation.
F- Dip-switches: for setting the configuration.
G- Reducer: gear-based transmission system that increases the torque and reduces the device
speed on the basis of the reduction ratio implemented (R).
