Step 4 Remove the cover.

Step 5 Remove the air duct.

Step 6 Check whether a PCIe card is installed.
l If yes, go to Step 7.
l If no, go to Step 8.
Step 7 Remove the PCIe card.

Step 8 Take a spare memory module.
Step 9 Check the positions and installation guidelines of the memory modules.
For details, see 2.3.5 Memory Installation Positions.

Step 10 Install the memory module.
1. Open the two memory module ejectors on the memory slot.

2. Align the edge connector of the memory module with the alignment key of the memory
slot, and insert the memory module in the slot.
