2) Run the vi /boot/efi/EFI/sles/grub.cfg command. In the command
output, find the sentence that is displayed after the cat/proc/cmdline
command is executed in Step 5.a.1), and add a space and then
"pciehp.pciehp_force=1 pci=pcie_bus_perf" at the end of the sentence.
Do not add the content in a new line.

3) Save the file and restart the compute node.
4) Run the cat /proc/cmdline command. If the command output contains
"pciehp.pciehp_force=1 pci=pcie_bus_perf", the kernel is configured
successfully.

b. Upgrade the OS kernel.
