8.1.4 How do I type a message in full-screen mode?
This is a new EMUI 4.0 feature. When the message has three lines, a button to switch to
full-screen mode appears in the upper left corner of the text box. Touch that button to enter
full-screen mode.
8.1.5 Why is there sometimes no ringtone/indicator light when I
receive a text message?
When you are reading messages from a contact and a new message comes in from the same
contact, there will be no ringtone or vibration to interrupt you.
If you haven't read the new message, when the screen is off, the indicator light will flicker to
remind you of the unread message, but there will be no reminders if the screen is still on.
For other scenarios, please check the following:
1. Check if you have set your phone to silent mode.
2. Check if you have set the message ringtone correctly. (Enter Messaging > Menu >
Settings > Choose ringtone, and make sure you have selected a ringtone.)
