3.3.8 Does my phone support privacy protection?
Due to adjustments in EMUI 4.0, the privacy protection function has been removed.
3.3.9 How do I use the network neighborhood function in Files?
1. Open Files. Go to Local > Network neighborhood.
2. How do I use Network neighborhood?
To use this function, your phone needs to be connected to another sharing-enabled device
(like a computer or another phone) within the same local area network. Next, enable
Network neighborhood, touch the scan option, find the device you want to share with,
and connect to the device.
3. How do I turn off Network neighborhood?
Touch and hold the device in the Network neighborhood device list to disconnect.
4. Can I use Network neighborhood to copy files from my computer to my phone?
Yes. Connect your phone and computer to your home's local area network. On your
computer, enable sharing for the files or folders you would like to be able to access from
your phone. On your phone, open Files and go to Local > Network neighborhood and
touch the scan option. Find your computer in list and touch to connect. When connected,
you can access files that are stored on your computer.
5. Why isn't my device in Network neighborhood?
Please check your device is connected to the Internet and make sure your phone and
other device are both connected to the same local area network.
