5.8 When I insert my microSD card into the phone, why
does it say the microSD card is damaged or not working?
1. That's probably because the microSD card's file system is damaged, or because the
Huawei Mate 8 does not support the file system. Right now the Huawei Mate 8 only
supports two kinds of file systems: FAT32 and exFAT. To check your microSD card's
file system, plug the microSD card into your computer via a card reader, right-click on it
and select Properties.
2. It is recommended that you back up the data on the microSD card, and then format the
microSD card in the Huawei Mate 8 through Settings > Advanced settings > Memory
& storage > SD card > Format. The steps are as follows:
