3.1.17 Does my phone support Office software?
Your phone supports WPS.
3.1.18 Does my phone support screen off gestures?
Yes.
Enter Settings > Smart assistance > Motion control > Draw, and turn on the switch.
You can only use this function when the screen is on. Use your finger to draw letters on the
empty area of the home screen.
3.1.19 Does my phone support application fingerprint unlock?
No.
3.1.20 Is my phone waterproof?
No.
3.1.21 Does my phone have an updated fingerprint function?
1. Improved fingerprint sensor designs
While the Mate 7 has a square fingerprint sensor, the Mate 8 has a round fingerprint
sensor. We have also changed the curve depth of the sensor from 0.85 mm to 0.45 mm.
The effective sensing area has been increased significantly to further improve user
experience in fingerprint identification.
2. The latest fingerprint registration technology:
The definition and accuracy of the fingerprint image has been increased. The sensor can
recognize a fingerprint in 0.5 seconds.
