Step 3: Power on the Eudemon200, and check the status of the LINK LED on the
module panel. An OFF LED means that the line has failed, and you should check the
line in this case.
7.8 1ATM-OC3MM

7.8.1 Introduction
ATM interface modules (including 1ATM-OC3MM, 1ATM-OC3SM, and 1ATM-OC3SML)
function in the system primarily to provide ATM interfaces for the Eudemon200. They
can:
z Support two frame formats, namely, SDH STM-1 and SONET OC-3.
z Allow scrambling in data transmission.
z Support both line clock (used when working as DTE interface) and internal clock
(used when working as DCE interface)
z Support the test measures of local cell loopback, local payload loopback and
remote loop.
