Note:
z The S3928P-PWR-EI/S3952P-PWR-EI provides overtemperature protection
mechanism which enables the switch to shut down the PoE function on all the ports
when the internal temperature is over 65°C (149°F). The switch restores the PoE
function on all the ports when the temperature falls below 60°C (140°F).
z The S3928P-PWR-EI/S3952P-PWR-EI can only use PoE external power supply
recommended by Huawei-3Com as the DC-input, otherwise, the device can be
damaged.
1.2 S3924-SI Ethernet Switch
1.2.1 Front Panel
I. Schematic diagram
On its front panel the S3924-SI provides 24 fixed 10Base-T/100Base-TX
auto-negotiation Ethernet ports but no extended module slots, as shown in Figure 1-1.

II. LEDs
The S3924-SI provides one power LED, one mode LED, and 24 10/100 Mbps port
status LEDs on its front panel. You can learn how it operates by reading the LEDs as
shown in Table 1-2.
