Rear Seats
Your vehicle has a split rear seat-
back which can be folded down
for additional cargo space.
Folding the Seatback
NOTICE
Damage to the rear seat or safe-
ty belts can occur if the seat is
folded with the safety belts
fastened.
Before folding a seat, unbuckle
the safety belts and return them
to their normal stowed posi-
tions.
1. Disconnect the center safety
belt latch by pressing the tip
of the safety belt into the
release slot on the mini
buckle. Then let the belt
retract.
2. Pull the loop, located on the
outboard side of the seat-
back, forward until you hear a
click.
3. Tilt the seatback forward and
remove the head rest.
To remove a head rest, press
the button on the head rest
post, at the top of the seat-
back, and pull out the head
rest.
4. Fold the seatback all the way
forward.
