CARE OF YOUR COMPACT
DISCS
Handle discs carefully. Store them
in their original cases or other
protective cases and away from
direct sunlight and dust.
Be sure never to touch the signal
surface when handling discs. Pick
up discs by grasping the outer
edges or the edge of the hole and
the outer edge.
If the surface of a disc is soiled,
dampen a clean, soft cloth in a
mild, neutral detergent solution
mixed with water and clean it,
wiping from the center to the
edge.
If a disc is not playing correctly for
any other reason, try a known
good disc.
DISC ERROR
If CHECK CD appears and/or the
disc comes out, it means there is
an error. The cause may be
extreme heat, rough road,
moisture or a damaged or
improperly loaded disc. The disc
may not play or it may eject.
Unless the disc is damaged, it will
play when conditions are back to
normal.
An error may appear if there was a
problem while burning the disc.
An error may occur if the disc
contains a format that is not
supported by the player.
Do not add labels to discs. They
could get caught in the compact
disc player.
If a disc is not playing correctly for
any other reason, try a known
good disc.
Contact your dealer if an error
occurs repeatedly and cannot be
corrected.
Provide your dealer with any
displayed error codes.
