Troubleshooting
Problem The shade does not roll up, or it rolls too slowly.
Solution Check that the shade is being raised straight up and is not skewing the fabric
against the cassette end plate or profile side holder. If this is not the case, you
can adjust by:
Adding Spring Tension
Locate the adjustable bracket or end cap.
If fabric is coming off the back of the shade, it will be the right side.
If fabric is coming off the front of the shade, it will be
the left side.
Raise the shade completely and hold into place.
Push a

" Allen wrench into the access hole in the end
cap of the shade (about a ½").
CAUTION: When pressing the Allen wrench into
the end, you are compressing a spring and freeing
it from a gear. Before compressing the spring, be
sure the Allen wrench is fully engaged. Test by
gently turning the Allen wrench; it should not turn.
When releasing the spring, be sure you can feel
the mechanism lock back into the gear to avoid
unwinding the spring. If the spring unwinds, tension will need to be added
back. Therefore, it will likely take multiple turns to get the desired tension.
Using ½ turn increments, rotate Allen wrench counter-clockwise to add
tension. Test and repeat, if necessary.
Problem I have several shades, and the side holders are different sizes.
Solution Shade holder size is determined by the length of the shade and size of the roll.
