Electrical System
IMPORTANT!
The sensor has a thin wall with a fine thread
and the thread strip if tightened too tight.
9. Tighten the lock nuts. Tightening torque 20 Nm.
10. The sensor has an LED built in. Test the sensor
by turning on the ignition and checking that the
LED comes on when the parking brake arm or
other magnetic tool is held within 2-3 mm from
the sensor.
Ignition Switch, Changing
1. Remove the ignition key (2).
2. Dismantle the front cover of the steering wheel
console (2).
3. Loosen the headlight insert (1) and move out
of the way.

4. Make sure the two clip nuts (4) are not lost.
5. Dismantle the nut (3) and seal from the ignition
switch (1).
6. Remove the ignition switch through the steering
wheel console.
7. Loosen the connector from the ignition switch
by pulling straight out.
8. Assemble in reverse order.
9. Pull out the plastic nut on the ignition switch
carefully.
10. Check the function.
