TROUBLESHOOTING THE H14A
Shaded actions to be performed only by
qualied service personnel.
ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS

1 Saw will not start at all

Stop immediately.
Reverse any two phase
connections - qualied personnel
only

Check level gauge, add oil to upper
line

Hydraulic pump motor starts,
but a hydraulic function does
not respond to selector switch.
Pressure on gauge.

If LED on cord connector at
valve solenoid lights, but no
function:
Solenoid failure or valve stuck.

Interchange coils with other valve.
If fault follows coil, replace coil.
If fault stays with valve, replace
valve.

If LED on cord connector does
not light, but corresponding LED
at PLC output lights:
PLC output fuse blown.

Check and replace fuse.
5FU1 for vise functions
5FU2 for head functions
5FU3 for head functions

As 3.2, but fuses ok:
PLC output relay failure.
3.3 Replace PLC output module

If corresponding LED at PLC
output does not light:
Fault in PLC input circuit or PLC
internal fault

Check corresponding PLC input
LED:
If off, troubleshoot input circuit.
If on, replace PLC.

Hydraulics are active, but blade
will not start

Automatic 35 second delay after
E-stop shutdown.
4.1 Wait for end of delay, and retry.
4.2
Overload of variable frequency
drive.
4.2
Press and pull-out E-stop to reset
VFD. After 35 second delay, restart
blade.
4.3
Blade motor contactor overload
tripped.
4.3 Reset overload

Shuttle will not move in Manual
Mode
