of
attaching
customer
equipment
to
the
processor
I/O
channel.

To facilitate attachment of various devices to the adapter interface,
additional hardware is required. Like the processor I/O channel, the DPC
adapter provides no functional capability in a stand-alone configuration.
The DPC adapter can be used for attachment of: typical digital
instruments,
another
computer,
typical
data
processing
I/O
equipment
(such as low-speed readers, punches, or plotters), or typical commercial
data-acquisition systems.
