3. Repeat steps 1 on page 79 and 2 on page 79 for each additional redundant
host connection. You can create a maximum of four redundant host
connections, as shown in Figure 59.
Note:
Figure 59 shows that the DS4800 host ports are connected to four sets
of FC host bus adapters (HBAs). You can replace one or all of these sets
of FC HBAs with FC switches as required.
For examples of redundant, partially-redundant, and non-redundant host and drive
channel configurations, see ā€œFibre channel host loop configurationsā€ on page 84.
