6. If present, disconnect the power cables from the power distribution board.
Replacing the power distribution board in the 9183-22X system
To replace the power distribution board in the system, complete the steps in this procedure.
Procedure
1. Ensure that you have the electrostatic discharge (ESD) wrist strap on and that the ESD clip is plugged
into a ground jack or connected to an unpainted metal surface. If not, do so now.
2. If present, reconnect the power cables to the front of the power distribution board.
3. Replace the power distribution board by plugging it into the system backplane, as shown in the
following gure. Use the alignment pins on the side of the chassis to ensure that the power distribution
board is placed properly. Ensure that tab (A) clicks into place to secure the power distribution board.
