4.11 Embedded 1 Gb Ethernet controller
The IBM NeXtScale nx360 M4 includes an embedded 1 Gb Ethernet controller
that is built into the system board. It offers 2-Gb Ethernet ports with the following
features:
򐂰 Intel I350 Gb Ethernet controller
򐂰 IEEE 802.3 Ethernet interface for 1000BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, and 10BASE-T
applications (802.3, 802.3u, and 802.3ab)
򐂰 IPv6 Offloads: Checksum and LSO
򐂰 Wake on LAN support
򐂰 Virtualization: I/OAT, VMDq (eight queues per port), and SR-IOV (PCI SIG
compliant)
򐂰 16 TX and 16 RX queues per port
򐂰 Supports MSI-X
򐂰 Supports SGMII, SCTP, NC-SI
򐂰 Supports IEEE 1588 (TimeSynch) per packet
򐂰 Supports Energy Efficient Ethernet
