IBM Platform Process Manager

few key individuals. IBM Platform Process Manager simplifies the design and
automation of complex computational processes, which captures and protects
repeatable best practices.
IBM Platform Session Scheduler
IBM Platform Session Scheduler provides high-throughput, low-latency
scheduling in environments that run high volumes of short-duration jobs and
where users require faster and more predictable job turnaround times.
IBM Platform Dynamic Cluster
Platform Dynamic Cluster turns static IBM Platform LSF clusters into
dynamic, shared cloud infrastructure. By automatically changing the
composition of clusters to meet ever-changing workload demands, service
levels are improved and organizations can do more work with less
infrastructure.
8.5 IBM Platform HPC
IBM Platform HPC is a complete management product that includes cluster and
workload management capabilities that are integrated into an easy-to-install,
easy-to-use offering.
IBM Platform HPC includes the following components:
A user portal that is based on IBM Platform Application Center (IBM PAC)
A workload management that is based on IBM Platform LSF
IBM Platform Cluster Manager Standard Edition
IBM Platform MPI
A workload driven dynamic OS boot
Figure 8-6 on page 230 shows the different components that form IBM Platform
HPC.
