Transmitting a Polling Request Reply call D
Transmit a Polling Request Reply call when a Polling Request 
call is received.
When the “POSITION ACK” in DSC Settings is set to ‘Auto’ 
(p. 68), the transceiver automatically transmits a reply call 
when receiving a Polling Request call.
Quick Reply:
About Received call information:
•Push[IGN]toignorethecallandreturntothenormaloperating
mode.
•Push[BACK]toreturntothepreviousscreen.
•Push[ACK]togotothenextstep.
 The  Polling  Request  Reply  e
confirmation  screen  is  dis-
played.
   Push [CALL] to transmit the 
reply call.
 
•Push [EXIT] to return to the
normal operating mode.
r While  transmitting  the  reply 
call, the screen shown below 
is  displayed,  and  then  re-
turns to the normal operating 
mode.
q When a Polling Request call 
is  received,  alarm  sounds 
and the screen shown below 
is displayed.
   Push [ALARM  OFF] to stop 
the alarm.
 •Even if you do not push
[ALARM OFF], the alarm stops 
after  2  minutes,  and  then  the 
screen in step w is displayed.
w Push [ACK].
 •Push [IGN] to ignore the call
and return to the normal oper-
ating mode.
  •Push[INFO]todisplaythePoll-
ing Request call information.
