MB-75/MB-132 installation ■
An optional MB-75/MB-132 f l u s h m o u n t Kit is available for
mounting the transceiver to a flat surface such as an instru-
ment panel.
KEEP the transceiver and microphone at least 1 meter
(3.3 feet) away from the vessel’s magnetic navigation com-
pass.
Using the template on page 112, carefully cut a hole into q
the instrument panel, or wherever you plan to mount the
transceiver.
Slide the transceiver through the hole, as shown below. w

Attach the 2 supplied bolts (M5 q × 8 mm) on either side of
the transceiver.
Attach the clamps on either side of the transceiver. w
•Make sure that the clamps align parallel to the transceiver’s
body.
Tighten the end bolts on the clamps (rotate clockwise) so e
that the clamps press firmly against the inside of the in-
strument control panel. (Torque: 0.6 N•m)
Tighten the locking nuts (rotate counterclockwise) so that r
the transceiver is securely mounted in position as below.
Connect the antenna and power cable, then return the in- t
strument control panel to its original place.
