PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
Persistence of
the problem
The machine does not dis-
pense frothed milk.
Milk type not suitable for this prepa-
ration.
Use cold whole milk.
Contact an
authorised
service centre.
Milk dispensing spout dirty or clogged
by milk from previous dispensing.
Wash the milk dispensing circuit.
Not enough milk in the tank. Fill the milk tank up to the MIN level.
One or more components of the milk
dispensing spout kit are dirty or clogged
by milk from previous dispensing.
Wash the milk dispensing spout components using dish soap or in the dishwasher according to the instructions provided
in the “Dishwasher Suitability” chapter. Rinse thoroughly.
The milk tank dispensing spout is not
correctly inserted into the milk tank lid.
Make sure that it is correctly inserted into the hole on the milk tank lid by prying on the tab on the back of the spout.
The milk dispensing spout is not cor-
rectly inserted in the machine.
Make sure to insert the milk dispensing spout until it locks into place.
The milk tank top is not correctly atta-
ched to the machine.
Make sure to attach the milk tank to the machine until it locks into place.
The machine does not
dispense frothed milk.
The dispensing spout is not correctly
inserted into the milk tank lid.
Make sure that it is fully inserted into the hole on the milk tank lid.
The milk kit is not correctly assembled.
Make sure that all the components have been correctly assembled (refer to the CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE chapter).
The milk dispensing spout is not cor-
rectly inserted in the machine.
Make sure to insert the milk dispensing spout until it locks into place.
The milk tank is not correctly attached
to the machine.
Make sure to attach the milk tank to the machine until it locks into place.
The 3 milk-based bevera-
ge icons do not light up.
The milk kit is not inserted or not cor-
rectly inserted.
Insert the milk kit in the machine until it locks into place.
