- Do not carry or pull the co ee machine by the cord.
- To reduce the risk of injury, do not drape cord over the counter
top or table top where it can be pulled on by children or tripped
over unintentionally.
- In case of  re, extinguish with carbon dioxide (CO
2
). Do not use
water or powder extinguishers.
Never obstruct the vents on the base of the machine.
Installation of the machine
- Read the instructions carefully.
- Do not install the machine in an area where the temperature may
reach 0°C/32°F or lower (if water freezes, the appliance may be
damaged) or higher than 40°C/104°F.
- Check that the mains electric voltage corresponds to the require-
ments indicated on the machine data plate. Connect the machine
only to a properly grounded power outlet with a minimum rating
of 6A for models powered at 230Vac, and 15A for models po-
wered at 120Vac.
- If the plug and the outlet are not compatible, have the plug
replaced with a proper one by an authorized service center.

- Ne pas retirer la  che en tirant sur le câble et ne pas la toucher avec
les mains si celles-ci sont mouillées.
- Ne pas déplacer ou tirer l’appareil en le tenant par le cordon.
- Pour prévenir le risque de blessures, ne pas laisser tomber le câble
du plan de travail ou de la table car les enfants pourraient le tirer
ou trébucher involontairement.
- En cas d’incendie, utiliser des extincteurs à anhydride carbonique
(C0

). Ne pas utiliser d’eau ou d’extincteurs à poudre.
- Ne jamais bloquer les grilles d’aération se trouvant sur la base de
l’appareil.
Installation de l’appareil
- Lire attentivement les instructions.
- Ne jamais installer la machine dans un milieu pouvant atteindre
une température inférieure ou égale à 0°C (si l’eau gèle, l’appareil
peut s’endommager) ou supérieure à 40°C.
- Véri er que la tension du réseau électrique corresponde bien à celle
indiquée sur la plaque signalétique de l’appareil. Ne brancher l’appareil
qu’à une prise de courant ayant un débit minimal de 6 A pour les
