2.4 BOILER USE
Boiler activation
Before ignition make sure the heating system is lled
with water and that the pressure gauge (18) indicates a
pressure of 1 ÷ 1.2 bar.
Open the gas cock upstream from the boiler.
If the boiler is “o, press the button until the display switch-
es on. At this point, the boiler goes to the state previous to
switch-o.
If the boiler is on “Stand-by”, press again to enable it, other-
wise go to the next point.
en press the button and set the boiler in the summer
or winter + mode.
Summer
In this mode the boiler functions only to produce the DHW, the
temperature is set via the buttons and the relative tempera-
ture is shown on the display via the indicator .
Winter +
In this mode the boiler works both for producing domestic hot
water and for central heating. e temperature of the DHW is al-
ways regulated via buttons , the central heating temperature
is regulated via buttons and the relative temperature is
shown on the display by the indicator . In the central heating
mode, if the temperature of the water contained in the system is
sucient to heat the radiators, the boiler can only function with
the activation of the pump.
From this moment the boiler functions automatically. With no
demand for heat (central heating or domestic hot water produc-
tion) the boiler goes to “standby” function, equivalent to the boiler
being powered without presence of ame.
Each time the burner ignites, the relative ame symbol is dis-
played.
Operation with Comando Amico Remoto (Remote control)
V2
(CAR
V2
) (optional)
If the CAR
V2
is connected, the symbol will appear on the dis-
play. e boiler regulation parameters can be set via the CAR
V2
control panel and the button remains active on the boiler
control panel, along with for switch-o (“o” mode only) and
the display where the functioning state is shown.
If the boiler is put into “o” mode, the “ERR>CM” con-
nection error symbol will appear on the CAR
V2
. e
CAR
V2
is however powered constantly so as not to lose
memorised programs.
Solar function
is function is automatically activated if the “t3” is more than 0
seconds.
During a withdrawal, as long as the “Solar ignition delay” func-
tion is active, the boiler does not switch on; the D.H.W. withdraw-
al symbol ashes on the display along with the ashing solar
function symbol .
When the “Solar ignition delay” time has elapsed, the boiler
switches on.
Operation with optional external probe (opt iona l).
In the case of a system with external probe, the boiler ow temper-
ature for room central heating is managed by the external probe
depending on the external temperature measured (Par. 1.11). e
ow temperature can be modied by selecting the functioning
curve via buttons (or from the control panel of CAR
V2
, if it is
connected to the boiler), selecting a value from “0 to 9”.
With external probe present, the relative symbol will appear
on the display.
“Stand-by Mode
Press the “Stand-by” button until the symbol appears; from
this moment the boiler remains o. e antifreeze function,
pump anti-block function and three-way and signalling of any
anomalies is guaranteed.
“O ” mode
By holding the button down for 8 seconds, only the frame of
the symbol remains lit on the display and the boiler is o com-
pletely. e safety functions are not guaranteed in this mode.
In “Stand-by” and “O” mode, the
boiler is still powered.
