Adjusting a channel level
After adjusting each channel with a test tone, you
can adjust channel levels based on individual
programs or to suit your preferences.
To adjust a channel level:
1 Press CH LEVEL. Each time you press this
button, the selected channel level changes in
the following sequence:
• L—Front left speaker
• C—Center speaker
• R—Front right speaker
• SR—Surround right speaker
• SBR—Surround back right speaker
• SBL—Surround back left speaker
• SL—Surround left speaker
• SW—Subwoofer
2 Press CH LEVEL + or CH LEVEL – to adjust the
level. You can adjust a level from -15 dB to
+15 dB.
3 Repeat Steps 1 and 2 to adjust additional
channels.
Assigning the component video inputs to
devices
This feature lets you assign the COMPONENT IN to
the DVD, GAME/AUX2, or CABLE/SAT.
To assign the component video inputs to
devices:
1 Press SETUP. The OSD opens.
2 Press TUNE or TUNE to select
COMPONENT IN SETUP, then press
ENTER/MEMO. The COMPONENT IN SETUP
screen opens.
3 Press TUNE or TUNE to select
COMPONENT - 1 or COMPONENT - 2, then
press PRESET or PRESET to select the
device you want. You can select DVD,
GAME(/AUX2), CABLE(/SAT), or OFF (no
assignment).
4 Press RETURN to return to the main menu or
press SETUP to close the menu.
Turning the TONE CONTROL effect on or off
To turn the TONE CONTROL effect on or off:
1 Press SETUP. The OSD opens.
2 Press TUNE or TUNE to select TONE
CONTROL, then press PRESET or PRESET
to select ON or OFF.
3 Press SETUP to close the menu.
Selecting the OSD language
To select the OSD language:
1 Press SETUP. The OSD opens.
Notes
If the channel level disappears, press CH LEVEL
again.
Depending on the speaker settings, such as setting a
speaker to NO or some surround modes, some
channels cannot be selected.
