2 Press TUNE or TUNE to select LANGUAGE,
then press PRESET or PRESET to select
English, French, or Spanish.
3 Press SETUP to close the menu.
Automatically tuning to a radio station
To auto tune to a radio station:
1 Press TUNER on the remote control to select
FM ST (ST appears on the display), FM MONO
(ST disappears from the display), or AM.
2 Press TUNE or TUNE on the front of your
receiver or press TUNE or TUNE on the
remote control for more than 0.5 seconds. Your
receiver tunes to the next higher or lower
station with a good signal. Stations with weak
signals are skipped.
3 Repeat Step 2 until you find the station you
want.
Manually tuning to a radio station
To manually tune to a radio station:
1 Press TUNER on the remote control to select
FM ST (ST appears on the display), FM MONO
(ST disappears from the display), or AM.
2 Press TUNE or TUNE on the front of your
receiver or press TUNE or TUNE on the
remote control repeatedly until you find the
station you want.
Presetting radio stations
You can store as many as 30 radio stations.
To preset radio stations:
1 Select the band and station you want to preset.
See “Automatically tuning to a radio station” on
page 22 or “Manually tuning to a radio station”
on page 22.
2 Press ENTER/MEMO. “MEM” flickers on the
display.
3 Press PRESET or PRESET to select the
preset number you want to assign to the station,
then press ENTER/MEMO.
Or,
Press the number buttons for the preset number
you want to assign to the station, then press
ENTER/MEMO. (You do not have to press
ENTER/MEMO when entering a two-digit
number.)
Tuning to a preset station
To tune to a preset station:
1 Select the tuner as the input source.
2 Press PRESET or PRESET on the front of
your receiver or press PRESET or PRESET
on the remote control to select the preset
station.
Or,
Press the number buttons for the preset number
you want.
Recording
You can record to the device connected to the
GAME/AUX 2 jacks.
To record:
1 Select the source you want to record from (DVD,
CABLE/SAT, or AUX 1). For more information,
see “Selecting the input source” on page 17.
2 Start recording on the device connected to the
GAME/AUX 2 jacks.
3 Start playing on the device you selected in
Step 1.

Note
If you assign a station to a preset number that already
has a station assigned, the second station replaces
the first.
Note
• The digital signals from the coaxial digital input,
optical digital input, or HDMI IN cannot be
recorded.
• When recording the analog signals from CD,
DVD, or CABLE/SAT, make sure that you press
D.INPUTS to select A (analog input).
• The volume and tone (bass, treble) settings have
no effect on the recording signals.
