3 SAS/SATA/OCuLink Data Cable Guide
By default, the chassis will include one Mini-SAS HD to 4 ports SATA 7 pins cable (iPC - AXXCBL450HD7S) that can be routed from the server
board to each of four storage drives.
Mini-SAS HD (SFF-8643) and/or OCuLink* data cables (ordered separately) when adding one of the following:
• SAS expander module (iPC -
RES3TV360)
• SAS expander PCIe* add-in card (iPC -
RES3FV288)
• SAS RAID PCIe* add-in card
• Hot-Swap Backplane accessory option
3.1 SAS/SATA/OCuLink Data Cable Connector Types
There are three (3) storage interface connector types used within this product family as shown in the following tables:
