8. To view HDD information, click HDD.
You can view the HDD label, status, capacity, free space, property, type, and group.
The recorded time (how many days we have recordings on the HDD) is also shown.
9. Click Exit to return to live view.
Search the system log
Many events of the recorder, such as operation, alarm, information, and notification are
logged into the system logs. They can be viewed and exported at any time.
Up to 2000 log files can be viewed at once.
Log files can also be exported onto a USB device. The exported file is named according
to the time it was exported. For example: 20160729124841logBack.txt.
Note: Connect the backup device, such as a USB flash drive, to the recorder before
commencing the log search.
To search video from the system log:
1. From the menu toolbar, click System Information > Log Search.
2. Select the search start and end date and times.
3. Under Event, select an option from the drop-down list: All, Alarm, Notification,
Operation, or Information.
4. From the Type list, select one of the options:
