Installation
1. Install a new shield and ground pad if this is a new EV12 scan engine. Use the engine that was removed as a
template.
2. Open the flex connector latch, fully insert the flex cable, and close the latch.
3. Slide the scan engine into the scan engine bracket. Align it’s mounting holes with the holes in the bracket.
4. Using a #0 Phillips screwdriver install two screws and secure the scan engine to the scan bracket assembly with
1.2+/-0.2 in-lbs of torque.
5. Re-install the scan bracket assembly.
6. Re-install the bottom housing assembly.
