OPERATION:
EA30 Scan Engine
The EA30 scan engine is located on the scan bracket assembly. To service the scan engine you will need to remove
the scan bracket assembly.

Removal
1. Remove the bottom housing assembly (refer to Bottom Housing operation).
2. Remove the scan bracket assembly (refer to Scan Bracket Assembly operation).
3. On units equipped with a camera remove the camera and then remove the ground pad underneath it. This will be
required before the scan engine can be removed from the scan bracket. This ground pad will not be present on units
built without a camera.
4. Using a #0 Phillips screwdriver remove two screws that secure the scan engine to the scan bracket assembly.
5. Slide the scan engine out of the scan bracket and disconnect the flex cable from it.
