8.11 Adjustable Width Bed Model CS9FX600
Adjusting the CS9FX600 Bed Width
The CS9FX600 has eight adjustable deck wings which can be adjusted to 36 in, 39 in or 42 in. The locations of the wings and adjustment knobs are
shown in
FIGURE6.
WARNING
Possible patient ENTRAPMENT Hazard if using non-specified mattress on an adjustable bed. Mattress must fit snugly
between appropriate mattress keepers and properly sized head and foot ends that are designed for use on wide beds. Use
only a mattress of recommended specifications with this bed. DO NOT use a mattress extension pad. Refer to the Bed
Specification section in this manual.
The following bed options are not compatible with the CS9FX600: 68 inch rail.
All eight adjustable deck wings must be adjusted to the same width. Ensure the appropriate bed and head board settings are
used as described in this procedure.
