device.Itisintendedtotransferanindividual
fromonerestingsurfacetoanother(suchasa
bedtoawheelchair).
WheelchairandbedwheellocksMUSTbein
alockedpositionbeforeloweringthepatient
ontoorliftingthepatientoffofthewheelchair
orbedtopreventthewheelchairorbedfrom
movingduringtransfer.
Beforetransferring,checkthatthewheelchair
(bed,commodeorothersurface)weight
capacitycanwithstandthepatientsweight.
WARNING!
RiskofDeath,InjuryorDamage
DONOTexceedthemaximumpatientweight
limitationof200kg(31stone).
ALWAYSkeephandsandngersclearofmoving
partstoavoidinjury.
ALWAYSbeawareofthefootplate,especially
thepatientspositiononthefootplate.Injury
tothepatientand/orassistantmayoccur .

offthesurfaceofthebed.Whenthelegsof
theliftarenolongerunderthebed,returnthe
legsofthelifttothemaximumopenposition.
Invacarerecommendslockingtherearcasters
oftheliftONLYwhenpositioningorremoving
theslingfromaroundthepatient.
Invacarerecommendsthattherearcasters
beleftunlockedduringliftingproceduresto
allowthepatientlifttostabilizeitselfwhenthe
patientisinitiallyliftedfromachair,bedor
anystationaryobject.
