commode.Bothassistantsshouldhelpguidethepatient
ontothecommode.
5.PresstheDOWNarrowbuttontolowerthepatient
ontothecommode.
6.Locktherearcasters.
7.Dependingonthestyleofsling,performoneofthe
following:
•StandAssistSling-unhookthestandassistsling
fromtheattachmentpointsonthestandassistlift.
•TransferStandAssistSling-
a.Unhookthetransferstandassistslingfromthe
bottomattachmentpointsonthestandassist
lift.
b.Liftuponthepatient’slegsandremovethe
thighsupportsfromunderneaththepatient.
c.Ifdesired,unhookthetransferstandassistsling
fromthetopattachmentpointsonthestand
assistlift.
Thepatientcanremainintheupperportion
ofthetransferstandassistslingwhileusing
thecommode.RefertoAttachingtheSlingto
theLiftandtheslingusermanualformore
informationaboutattachingandremovingslings.
