3.3. USB interface
The USB interface built inside the MT-703 module is used for the connecting a
computer during the local configuration of the module.
Because the USB standard provides a possibility of powering the devices connected to
the USB port from the host computer, such mode is also possible in this particular case.
The module can work being powered from the computer connected via an USB cable,
and not using its own battery during the configuration.
To connect a module with a computer you must have an USB cable with A and B
plugins.
Connecting the module to a computer is indicated by the LED marked as “USB”. The
diode lights then continuously.

the MTM program user manual.
