The use of accessories, transducers and cables other than those
specified, with the exception of transducers and cables sold by
Inventis as replacement parts for internal components, can have the
effect of increasing emissions from the device and reducing its
immunity.
Portable items of RF communication equipment (including
peripherals such as antenna cables and external antennas) must be
used at a distance no closer than 30 cm (12 inches) to any part of
the Timpani, including cables specified by the maker. If this advice
is ignored, the performance of the instrument may suffer.
Anyone connecting other items of equipment must ensure that the overall
system complies with IEC 60601-1-2 standard.
The instrument has no ESSENTIAL PERFORMANCE risks as envisaged
in IEC standard 60601-1
Note: all instructions necessary for the purposes of maintaining conformity
with regard to electromagnetic compatibility are provided in the
maintenance section of this manual. No further procedures are required.
