3 Installation guidelines
This chapter describes the mechanical installation and electrical installation of the
inverter.
Only trained and qualified professionals are allowed to carry out the
operations mentioned in this chapter. Please carry out operations
according to instructions presented in "Safety precautions". Ignoring
these safety precautions may lead to physical injury or death, or device
damage.
Ensure the inverter power has been disconnected before installation. If
the inverter has been powered on, disconnect the inverter from the
power source, and wait for at least the time designated on the inverter.
The inverter installation must be designed and done according to
applicable local laws and regulations. INVT does not assume any
liability whatsoever for any inverter installation which breaches local
laws or regulations. If recommendations given by INVT are not
followed, the inverter may experience problems that the warranty does
not cover.
3.1 Mechanical installation environment
3.1.1 Installation environment
The installation environment is essential for the inverter to run at the best performance for
a long time.
-25°C–60°C, and air temperature change shall be less than
0.5°C/minute.
When the ambient temperature exceeds 45°C, the inverter must be
derated by 1% for every increase of 1°C.
It is not recommended to use the inverter when the ambient
temperature exceeds 60°C.
To improve reliability, do not use the inverter in the places where the
temperature changes rapidly.
When the inverter is used in a closed space, such as control cabinet,
use a cooling fan or air conditioner for cooling, preventing the
internal temperature from exceeding the temperature required.
