Enter / Encoder Press: Edit the parameters for events at the cursor position. See Edit Step
Parameters. If an event exists in the pattern off of the current quantize grid, it will appear as a
single dot. Off-grid events cannot be selected with the cursor but can still be edited by pressing
Enter as long as the event is less than one grid step from the cursor.
Shift+Enter: Change pattern number. Press Enter to switch back to cursor scrolling.
F1: Quantize Higher / Zoom Out
F2: Toggle TR mode. Long-press F2 to switch the TR Mode LED colors.
F3: Quantize Lower / Zoom In
F4: Shift (move) all events under the cursor or in the selection. While shifting, the cursor and the
events will blink. Press Arrow keys or turn the Encoder to move the selected events. Press F4 or
Enter to stop shifting. Press Back to cancel (undo) shifting. Quantization/zoom level can be
changed while shifting.
F4+Pad: Shift one track’s events under the cursor or in the selection.
F5: Play only one measure. The measure played follows the cursor. The measure will only
change when play reaches the end of the currently playing measure, thereby keeping everything
in sync. When this feature is active, the F5 key will be illuminated, and the play area is indicated
with a line just below the measures header. Press F5 again to deactivate.
F6: Rename Pattern.
F7: Paste clipboard at the cursor position. Displays the Paste options screen.
F8: Lock/Unlock the faders for the current fader mode.
F9: Lock/Unlock the faders for all fader modes.
Select and Copy
Hold shift while moving the cursor to select an area of the pattern. The selected area will be
inverted. When a selection exists, some functions change their behavior and additional
functions are available.
Shift+Arrows/Shift+Encoder: Select a section of the pattern.
F5 Long-press: Play the selected area. The play area will not change when the cursor is moved.
Press F5 to cancel the play area.
Enter: Display the Selection Actions menu.
Erase: Display the Selection Erase screen.
Erase+Enter/ Erase+Encoder Press: Removes all events from the selection.
Erase+Pad: Erase one track’s events from the selection.
Copy: Copy the selection to the clipboard. Note that the whole selection is copied, including any
white space” that does not contain events.
Copy+Pad: Copy one track's events from the selection (or under the cursor) to the clipboard.
Continue to hold Copy, move the cursor, then press the same pad to paste the copied events.
Or, press a different pad to transcribe the pasted events, that is, paste the events and their
parameters but change the track.
