The boiler has the “chimney-sweeper” funcon, forcing burner ignion at the maximum output not
modulated. This funcon allows more reliable measurements of those obtained when the gas boiler is
acvated through the room thermostat or hot water demands.
f Prepare the instruments for combuson checking;
f acvate the “chimney-sweeper” funcon, following this simple procedure, studied to avoid acciden-
tal acvaons of the user;
• supply the boiler and turn the Summer/Winter knob
to Summer posion ;
• provide that room thermostat contact is closed (acvated) or open an hot water tap (the heat
produced by the boiler will be drained consequently);
• turn the Hot Water knob
to the posion Chimney-sweeper and wait (about 5 seconds)
that the display shows “SE” (SErvice) ashing (moreover,  lamp ashes with short pulses);
• when the display shows “SE” ashing, turn the Hot Water knob
on the scale . The indica-
on service appears on the display and the burner ignites at the maximum output not modulated
(the YELLOW light turns on);
f make the checks and measurements;
f switch o the burner, by turning the Summer/Winter knob
to the posion. The
 light blinks.
Remark: the burner will switch o automacally when reaching the maximum temperature, and in
any case aer 15 minutes.

The pump has a selector which allows to reduce the speed, so as to reduce the noise produced by the
too rapid circulaon of the liquids in too small heang systems.
• III = Maximum Speed (Factory seng)
• II = Medium Speed
• I = Minimum Speed (use only if strictly neces-
sary; test the heang system, verifying that no
overheang problems occur).
