Functions and Features
– OPP: After Series, the setting value is the sum of the OPP setting values of
the two channels. When switching back to single, it is half of Series OPP.
– OVP: After Series, OVP defaults to the sum of the OVP voltage settings of
the two channels. When switching back to single, the OVP of the two chan-
nels is half of Series.
• Foldback protection: When the Foldback settings of the two channels are
the same, after series, the default is the setting of CH1. When the Foldback
settings of the two channels are different, the Foldback will be turned off after
Series. When switching back to single, the settings of the two channels are
the same as those of Series.
• Save/Recall: When it is Single, after the two channels execute save and
Series respectively, the recall current value is the CH1 current value, and the
voltage is the sum of the voltage values of the two channels (and no more
than 100V). When it is Series, execute save and restore Single, the Recall
current value of the two channels is the Series current value, and the voltage
is half of the Series mode.
The detailed connection method and operation steps are as follows.
1. Set the two channels of the power supply to Series mode.
a. Press the [Shift]+[Display] (System) key to enter the system menu.
b. Press the left and right direction keys or rotate the knob, select “Con-
nect”, and press [Enter] to enter the edit mode.
c. Rotate the knob to select “Series” and press [Enter] to confirm.
2. After the parameter setting is completed, the instrument will restart automati-
cally. After restarting, the device will enter the 2-channel Series combination
mode.
3. Refer to the figure below to connect the DUT, and live wiring is prohibited.
The connection method shown in the figure above is the wiring method
when the Sense is turned on.
