To assemble the Solar CCU 100
1. Mount the solar panels and battery box as described in the Installation, Operation,
and Maintenance Manual supplied with the solar system.
2. Set the photovoltaic (PV) array's tilt and azimuth to the angles recorded in the design
specifications provided by Itron.
The Array Tilt value is the angle of the array from horizontal.
The Array Azimuth value is the angle of the array clockwise from true north.
The following diagram illustrates tilt and azimuth angles.
If you do not have the design specifications at the installation site, see To set array tilt
and array azimuth using the PVWatts website on page 48.
3. Wire the five-conductor power cable to the solar cabinet, as shown in the Solar
Wiring Diagram on page 46. Use the watertight grommet supplied with the solar
cabinet.
