Why is no adhesive flowing out of my ITW Dynatec DynaFiber UFD module?

  Several factors could be responsible. The nozzle may be clogged, or the filter element could be dirty. Other potential causes include defective module seals (O-rings), an empty ASU hopper, adhesive that is too cold, a solenoid valve that isn't opening, or a piston stroke that is too low. To resolve this, try the following: Clean or replace the nozzle. Replace the filter. Check the module O-rings. Refill the hopper. Adjust the temperature. Check the solenoid valve. Adjust the stroke limit.

Why is my ITW Dynatec Paint Sprayer applicator too hot?

  The applicator might be overheating because the temperature setpoint is too high, or the temperature sensor could be defective. You can resolve this by adjusting the temperature setpoint or checking/replacing the sensor.

  An erratic application pattern may be due to low adhesive pressure or incorrect pattern controller settings. For units without speed control, increase the adhesive pressure at the ASU. For units with speed control, adjust the pump speed control. Also, check the pattern controller manual for proper adjustment.

Why is my ITW Dynatec DynaFiber UFD applicator not reaching operating temperature?

  If the applicator isn't reaching the correct temperature, it could be due to a low hopper temperature setpoint, a defective heater cartridge, or a defective temperature sensor. You can resolve this by changing the setpoint, checking or replacing the heater cartridge, or checking or replacing the sensor.

  If hot melt is leaking from the weep holes, it's likely that the module seals are damaged. Replace the seal cartridge or module to resolve this.
