The drawing shows the connection of a ground coil to the IVT 495 TWIN.
The joint pipe to the heat pump is fitted with a filling unit, a particle filter
and an expansion vessel. A safety valve is fitted to the outgoing duct.
Connecting the collector
Two 90mm draining pipes are
embedded into the bottom plate.
An insulated plastic hose with a
protective cover can also be
used.
The collector hose is pulled into
the drainage pipe and is foamed
from above after installation.

Hoses must be insulated over the
final 1.5m towards the house
foundation to avoid frost damage.
Min. bending radius 0.5 m.

required next to the heat pump. See
detail.
NOTE: Cannot be connected at the
bottom!
All pipe connections for the ground
coil, heating system, duration hot
water and waste water come out at
the back of the unit.
