Draining
1. Disconnect mains power by setting the main
switch to 0 and remove the fuses supplying
the unit.
NOTE: The heat pump must not under any
circumstances be switched on without water.
2. Release the pressure by opening the safety
valve for the heating system (see List of
Components) so that the pressure gauge ( 1)
shows 0 bar.
3. Then open the draining valve located on the
T pipe in front of the compressor ( 2). Open
by turning the dial anti-clockwise. The
draining valve has a 1/2 inch external thread
to which the draining hose can easily be
attached.
4. To empty the heat pump of heating water,
open the venting nipple or safety valve (see
List of components).
