)NSPECTION OF THE BEARING UNIT
Check the bearing unit for run-out. If the run out
is more than 0.2 mm (0.008 in.), replace the
pump assembly.
2.7. INSPECTION OF THERMOSTAT
•Inspection of activating temperatures at which
the valve starts to open and opens fully.
Put the thermostat in water and heat the water
gradually by stirring.
Check for the temperature at which the valve
starts to open and that at which the valve opens
fully.
