OPERATION AND ADJUSTMENTS
ARBUS 400Assembling the PH kit
12. Measure the application range (f).
13. Stop the sprayer on a level ground, pref-
erably in the same area it was filled, fill
in the tank and measure the volume
spent.
14. Calculate the spraying volume in L/ha,
using the following formula:
range
OBSERVATION:
In case the spraying volume
does not correspond to the re-
quired one, increase or reduce
the flow rate through the valve
or increase or reduce the speed.
164.04 ft
GPA = GPM x 495
MPH x S
With:
GPA - Spray volume (gallons per acre)
GPM - Total noozles ow rate ( gallons per
minute)
S – Spray swath (feet)
MPH – Tractor speed (miles per hour)
495 – Conversion unit
Example:
Noozle ow rate = 0.65 gpm at 25 psi (2
DEF-015 + 3 EF-015 nozzle)
Spray swath = 12.5 ft
Working speed = 2.5 mph
GPA = GPM x 495 = (10.03) GPA = 10.03
MPH x S
