7.5.2 Summation current measurement
For a summation current measurement via two
current transformers, first set their total trans-
formation ratio on the device (setting the current
transformer ratios, see starting from chap. 12.4
on page 36).
Example:
The current measurement occurs via two current
transformers. Both current transformers have a
transformation ratio of 1000/5 A. The summation
measurement is performed with a summation
current transformer 5+5/5 A.
Set the device as follows:
Primary current: 1000 A + 1000 A = 2000 A
Secondary current: 5A
