To replace the brushless DC motor and belt tension adjustment
To remove:
1. Remove the face plate, top cover, belt cover, base
and front cover. (Refer to pages 1, 2 and 4)
2. Remove the motor belt.
3. Remove the setscrews A (2 pcs.) and printed curcuit
board B unit.
4. Remove the setscrews B (2 pcs.).
5. Disconnect the motor harness from the brushless DC
motor.
6. Replace the brushless DC motor.
To attach:
1. Connect the motor harness from the brushless DC
motor.
2. Fix the brushless DC motor by tightening the
setscrews B (2 pcs.) lightly.
3. Adjust the belt tension and tighten the setscrews B
(2 pcs.) securely.
4. Fix the printed curcuit board B unit by tightening the
setscrews A (2 pcs.).
Adjust motor belt tension:
Adjust the motor belt deection to about 7 to 9 mm by
pressing the middle of the motor belt with approximately
300 grams-force of pressure.
Pressure: 300 gf
Deection: 7 to 9 mm
