Removal
1 Remove the engine cover (if fitted) K Engine
Cover ( T B-1) and move the engine back on its
mounting to gain access to the oil cooler (K Engine
Mounting ( T K-3).
Note: The illustration show the engine unit removed from
the machine for clarity.
2 Place a container underneath the machine to collect
the hydraulic oil from the cooler.
3 Label hoses A and B to ensure correct reconnection
then disconnect the hoses from the oil cooler.
4 Remove the eight securing bolts C and remove the oil
cooler D from the engine fan cowling.
It is not possible to repair the oil cooler, if it is damaged it
must be renewed.
Replacement
1 Assemble the oil cooler to D the engine fan cowling
and secure with the eight bolts C.
2 Connect hoses A and B to their correct adapters,
taking care not to over-tighten the hoses.
3 Start the engine and check for hydraulic oil leaks.
4 Top up the oil level in the hydraulic tank
(K
Lubricants and Capacities ( T 3-8)).
5 Slide the engine back and secure in its correct
position. Refit the engine cover (if fitted).
