Dismantling
Fig 2.
1 Drain the oil from the motor and clean the outside
surfaces thoroughly before starting.
2 Remove the drive shaft key 1.
3 Position the motor in a suitable fixture with the drive
shaft pointing downwards.
4 Remove drain plug and ‘O’ ring 2.
5 Remove bolts and washers 3.
6 Lift off end cover 4.
7 Remove gear wheel set 5. Do not dismantle it.
8 Remove carden shaft 6 and channel plate 7.
9 Take out ‘O’ rings 8 from the housing and gear wheel
set.
10 Turn the motor over so that the shaft points upwards
and place it on a clean soft surface.
11 Remove screws 9 using an S5 Allen head spanner.
12 Lift off spigot flange 10.
